AfterFive Event Alerts
AfterFive Event Alerts is a text messaging program from AfterFive, a product of Korso, Inc., that carries the logistics of the events you apply for.

Event Alerts may include application status, confirmations, reminders, location or schedule changes, cancellations, and safety updates for events you apply for or attend.
This program does not send marketing messages. It also does not include the one-time verification codes that Prelude sends when you request to sign in; those codes are a separate authentication service.
Suggestions about upcoming events you have not applied for are not part of this program. AfterFive sends those by email, in a weekly drop with an unsubscribe link in every message. If AfterFive ever sends event suggestions by text, that will be a separate program with its own optional opt-in, and agreeing to Event Alerts will not enrol you in it.
how enrollment works
Event Alerts require a separate choice that is off by default. The current agreement is shown at first Apply, after the event or invitation context is known, and never during standalone Sign in or Sign up. You tick it yourself; it is never pre-selected, and it is never selected for you by anything else you do on the page.
Because AfterFive runs each event over text — where the table is, when it moves, and whether tonight is still on — agreeing to Event Alerts is part of applying for an event. If you do not agree, no application or payment write occurs; requesting a one-time sign-in code remains separate and is still sent. The program carries no marketing, which is why it can be part of applying at all.
The one-time code is only for authentication and is separate from Event Alerts. Requesting a code does not select the Event Alerts choice. Your answer is recorded when you agree at first Apply, together with the version of the wording you agreed to.
Agreeing at first Apply does not lock you in. STOP works at any time, as described below.

stop and help
Reply STOP to an Event Alert to stop receiving Event Alerts. AfterFive records the revocation and checks it before a later Event Alert is sent. Reply HELP for help, or email support@afterfive.club. These commands apply to Event Alerts, not to a verification code you separately request through Prelude when signing in.
delivery and privacy
AfterFive sends Event Alerts to eligible members who have applied for or are attending the relevant event and have a qualifying Event Alerts agreement. The sender checks the latest consent and current event state immediately before delivery.
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed and may be affected by your device, mobile plan, carrier, network availability, or other conditions outside our control.
