terms of service
last updated August 2026
about these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the AfterFive app, website, and related services. AfterFive is a product of Korso, Inc. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.
The current service helps people browse curated events, apply to attend, receive a decision, and manage their own attendance. The current service does not sell event tickets.
who may use AfterFive
You must be at least 18 years old and located in the United States to use AfterFive. You must provide a valid U.S. mobile number that you control or are authorized to use.
your account
Keep your account information accurate and use only your own account. You are responsible for access to your phone and account and for telling us promptly at support@afterfive.club if you believe someone else has gained access.
A recovery email is optional contact information, not a Firebase login or recovery provider. AfterFive offers no automated lost-phone or phone-number-change recovery, and support cannot guarantee that an account can be restored without access to its verified number.
If you do not provide a recovery email, an application, outcome, recap, or emailed receipt is not guaranteed. Your private profile, application status, event history, and payment state are the authoritative in-product record.
An optional profile image is stored privately and read through a short-lived signed URL. A signed URL already issued can continue to work until it expires, for up to 15 minutes, even after the image is replaced, removed, or the account is deleted.
You may delete your account through the authenticated flow at https://www.afterfive.club/account/delete. Deletion is permanent, subject to the limited transaction, security, legal, backup, and provider-retention exceptions explained in the Privacy Policy.
Do not impersonate another person, create accounts for someone else without permission, or use false information to evade an account or event restriction.
applications and selection
Applying expresses your interest in an event; it does not reserve a place or guarantee acceptance. AfterFive staff review applications and curate groups based on the event, available capacity, and the information applicants provide.
We may accept, place on standby, or decline an application. Selection decisions are not rankings of a person’s worth and may differ from event to event.
confirming or withdrawing
If you are accepted, follow the instructions in the service to confirm your place. If you can no longer attend, withdraw promptly so staff can plan the event and offer the place to someone else.
A confirmation records your intention to attend. It does not prevent AfterFive from changing or cancelling an event when necessary.
event details and changes
Before you apply, an event may show an area, neighbourhood, time, format, and price band without naming the exact venue. Exact venue and address information is revealed only to attendees who are entitled to receive it under the event’s current status and reveal schedule.
Event times, venues, schedules, capacity, and availability may change. We will use the service and available contact information to communicate material changes when reasonably possible, but you should check your event details before attending.
attendee privacy
Applications, attendance, guest lists, and attendee identities are private. Other users do not receive your name, phone number, answers, application status, or attendance information through AfterFive. Do not publish another attendee’s personal information or private event details without permission.
Photographs are the one exception. After an event, AfterFive staff may publish photographs taken at it in two places: a private album for admitted registrants and up to ten guests per host admitted through a valid time-limited album link, and our public website, where anyone can see them without an account. Staff choose which pictures go where. Nothing else about anyone in them is shared: no names, no tags, no counts of who appears in a picture, no comments, and no link from a face to a profile or to anyone’s contact details. Nothing is disclosed about who is coming to an event before it happens.
Downloading a photograph does not make it yours to publish. Do not post, forward, or otherwise share an event photograph containing another person outside AfterFive without that person’s permission. Treat an album link as access to a private space: possession may admit a guest within the limit above, so share it only with people you intend to admit.
The current album viewer has no member-facing report or removal control. For a photograph request, email support@afterfive.club. A private signed read URL already issued can continue to work until it expires, for up to fifteen minutes. A public photograph has no expiring link, so anyone who saved it while it was up, and any search engine that copied it, keeps what they have; we cannot reach those copies.
conduct
Treat attendees, staff, venue workers, and other people with respect. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate against, stalk, deceive, or endanger anyone; disrupt an event or venue; bring illegal items; misuse private information; or use AfterFive for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity.
Follow reasonable safety instructions, venue rules, and applicable law. If an immediate safety issue arises, contact local emergency services first and then tell AfterFive when it is safe to do so.
venues and the experience
AfterFive coordinates event discovery, applications, group curation, attendance information, and the event experience described in the service. Venues and their workers are independent from AfterFive unless we expressly say otherwise.
AfterFive does not promise that a host or greeter will be present, provide transportation, supply food, drinks, or other venue goods, or make third-party services available. Any purchase you choose to make directly from a venue is between you and that venue.
service access and restrictions
Do not interfere with the service, probe or bypass its security, scrape it in bulk, use automated accounts, or copy or resell access to it. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change, pause, or discontinue features as the product develops.
We may proportionately restrict an account, application, confirmation, or attendance when reasonably necessary to address a breach of these terms, protect people or the service, investigate fraud or security concerns, comply with law, or respond to an event or venue change. Where appropriate, we may ask for more information before deciding what action to take.
AfterFive materials
The AfterFive name, branding, app, website, text, graphics, design, and other materials provided through the service belong to Korso, Inc. or its licensors. You may use them only for your personal, non-commercial use of AfterFive. These terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.
privacy and messages
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information. One-time sign-in codes and the AfterFive Event Alerts text program are described separately on our SMS Program page.
Event Alerts require a separate choice that is off by default. The current agreement is shown at first Apply, after the event context is known, and never during standalone Sign in or Sign up. If you do not agree, no application or payment write occurs; requesting a one-time sign-in code remains separate. These messages are the event service you are asking for, not a marketing condition attached to account creation. The Event Alerts program sends zero marketing messages.
AfterFive Event Alerts may include application status, confirmations, reminders, location or schedule changes, cancellations, and safety updates for events you apply for or attend. Message frequency varies based on your applications and events. Message and data rates may apply. Event Alerts do not include marketing messages or a one-time sign-in code you separately request from Prelude.
Reply STOP to an Event Alert to stop Event Alerts and HELP for help. AfterFive records a STOP and checks that choice before a later Event Alert is sent. You may also email support@afterfive.club. These controls apply to Event Alerts, not to a verification code you separately request when signing in. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will post the revised terms here, update the date above, and provide additional notice when a change materially affects how you use AfterFive.
Questions about these terms or the service may be sent to support@afterfive.club.
